Grape Seed Extract is a potent extract from grape seeds, which are rich in flavonoids, specifically oligomeric proanthocyanidins (or OPC's). OPCs are widely distributed in plants, being found in cocoa, chocolate, apples, peanuts, almonds, cranberries, blueberries, and in the bark of pines, among other plants.

OPCs from grape seed are considered strong free radical fighters - 15 to 25 times stronger than Vitamin E. Interestingly, proanthocyanodins are one of only a few antioxidants that cross the blood brain barrier. Promising preliminary research indicates that grape seed extract can by beneficial in improving night vision.

They may help prevent the damage to cells by free radicals and stabilizes collagen and maintains the health of elastin. OPCs are considered beneficial to cardiovascular and circulatory health.

In addition to antioxidant activity, proanthocyanidins from grape seed extract may support healthy soft tissue and healthy cell production.

Grape seed sometimes goes by the name "Muskat" and "Extrait de Pepins de Raisin!"

I like all the products I ordered. That's why I keep ordering them. Almost two years ago I learned that I had Macular Degeneration and no central vision in right eye. There has been no negative change since that time. I have increased the supplements I take including Eye Protection. My Dr. told me to keep on with the vitamins and supplements, which is what I would do anyway. I appreciate the excellent products offered by Our Health coop. Thank you.

I used to get colds 4-5 times per year but since taking 2 grape seed extracts a day I rarely have maybe 1 cold per year and seem to get over it much more quickly tha in the past.
